Care & Maintenance of Hair Extensions

hair-extensionIf you are considering purchasing our virgin hair extensions, here are some simple tips on how to maintain your virgin extensions in optimum condition.

General Advice

Your hair extensions can be coloured, but avoid bleaching. Curly hair generally requires more care than straight hair. Wash, condition and trim hair before reusing. Consult a stylist/colourist prior to colouring your extensions. Only use products free of salt (sulphate), parabens or alcohol.

Daily Maintenance

Use light leave in conditioner. Never brush curly hair - use wide tooth comb or fingers. Detangle hair - taking a small section at a time from ends to root. Consult your stylist for up to date product advice.

Sleeping

Braid curly hair for sleeping. Secure hair using hair net or satin scarf to reduce friction. Never sleep with damp/wet hair.
